Well Hello again!!!! Wow , Its been a while! A little re-cap on what has been going on with The Moons since 2011 began! Starting in January, my boss told me that he would be going to India for 2 weeks and that I would have 2 weeks off, so I went online and booked a cruise for Jake and I ! We went on a 5 night cruise out of Galveston, Tx for only 218.00 per person! It was one of the best vacations I have ever been on! We took 3 hour naps everyday, ate until we wanted to puke, layed out in the sun, went to shows, ate, slept, and ate and ate some more! I loved spending a whole week with just Jake!! In late February/March Jake started working full-time with my dad and brothers at Merrill Lynch! We hit our 1 year mark in January with living with my parents and in March started house hunting! We found the house of our dreams and put an offer on it, it got accepted and we moved in the middle of April. We had one problem though, we needed someone to watch Britton, so thankfully Jakes sister Molly Jane agreed to come down for the summer to watch Britton while Jake and I worked full-time! We have loved having her here and she has been a terrific nanny! She will make a wonderful mommy someday! The end of April we found out baby #2 was on its way. I had done some calculating of the due date before we started trying and knew that if we got pregnant in March that would put us with a December baby, December 23rd to be exact. Well it happened pretty quick for us and sure enough we got pregnant with a baby due December 23rd! So, we have our Anniversary December 22nd, baby the 23rd and Christmas the 25th, should be an eventful month. The good news is that we will most likely have a scheduled C-section a week before our due date, which will hopefully make it a little less crazy! Britton broke his collar bone while he was being delivered and I broke my tailbone from delivering, so after speaking with my doctor, we thought it might be wise to do a C-section. We will see how that all pans out! Well, 2 weeks ago I decided I was DONE working and ready to just be a stay at home mom. I have really struggled working full-time and feel like I am missing out on precious years with Britton and with baby #2 on their way, I wanted to make sure I got some quality time with Britton, so I made the decision and it feels UNBELIEVABLE to be able to be home everyday and to finally experience what being a full-time mommy feels like! I couldn't love it more! Life is great! We love our new home, Jake loves his new job, I love being home with Britton and we are very much looking forward to adding another one to our family!! I am hoping to start updating the blog at least once a month now that I am home with no excuses of not having enough time to blog!! Well until next time-cheers :)
