IM OBSESSED

This Month has been CRAZY!!!! I am finishing up my last two semesters of nursing school right now, doing clinicals at the Payson hospital , and working about 20 hours a week at Ideal image. Life has been pretty fun and busy I must say! My cute sister Cheryl and her two youngest and my fabulous mom came in town the end of last month and it was SO MUCH FUN!! While my sister was here, I mentioned to her how obsessed I am with those cute wide headbands with the bows attached to them. My sister then decided that she would start making them on her own and see how that goes! I have gone to her blog a BUNCH and love looking at her cute headbands and bracelets too that she is making! So if you have a little girl, niece, granddaughter, or if you have any friends with little girls, I am sure any little girl would love one of these headbands or bracelets. Here's whats new!!!

Hey ya'll!!! So its been a little while since I have blogged, but we have been VERY busy! I took my state boards for nursing school about a month ago and PASSED!!! So I am officially a Nurse, which I am obviously very excited about! I just got a job working as a nurse at Ideal Image doing the laser hair treatments. I love where I work and love who I work with, my friend Dana works with me and makes each day lots of fun ! She got hired just a few days before I did, so we have both been training for about the same amount of time!

The end of August, Jake and I went down to The Woodlands ( where I am from ) and spent some time with my family and then went to New York with my parents for a week. We saw Legally Blonde, Wicked, The Little Mermaid, and also A tale of two cities, they were all AMAZING!We had such a great time being in New York with my parents and Jake loved getting to go to New York for his first time.

Jake just started up school again and has his first Kaplan test prep class for the DAT this Saturday. I am so proud of him for taking 17 credits and doing this kaplan course and working part time with his dad! He is a pretty amazing guy I must say! He even seems to find time to cook for me, since we have been married , Jake has cooked about 50 meals and I think I have made about 3 ? He can make pretty much anything taste FABULOUS! He watches the food network channel for tips and then whips up the most amazing things ever! He cooked homemade lasagna rolls for my family of 17 when we went to Texas and everyone loved him for it! Newport and Aspen Grove

Jake's family goes on a trip every fourth of july to Newport Beach ,Ca!!! Now that i am in the family, I get to go too!! We had such a great time while we were there. We mainly hung out at the beach, went on walks, bikerides, ate great food, and hung out with great people. We were sad Jake's brother Alex could not be there. He had just gotten his wisdom teeth out and had to be in town for football practice. He is on the football team at Timpview High! Jake's other sister Julie was not able to come either, so we missed them both!! Just 15 hours after we got home from Newport we picked up my grandma and drove up to Aspen Grove ( which is up by Sundance in Utah) and checked into our lodge, where we stayed for the next week. It was fun to be there with all of my family, minus my sister cheryl and her daughter keirsten ( her daughter was born prematurly and was advised by the doctors not to make the journey from Texas to Utah) We were sad not to have them there with us :( Her husband travis came up for the week with their three other children and was a trooper to be there without Cheryl!! Jake was busy almost every minute playing some type of sport with my brothers Brent and Brad. We even went hiking while we were there and it was awesome! I registered to take my nursing boards on August 12, so I am doing pretty much nothing but studying and hanging out with Jake till then!! Well thats it for now :)

Jake and I went to Cancun on our honeymoon in December and loved every minute of it!! I just barely downloaded the new pics on my computer , so I thought I would add them to my blog! I am still really struggling with how to do all this blogging stuff, but I am sure I will figure it out soon enough!! So I am almost done with my first year of nursing school!!! I have exactly one more week to go and then I will be studying for a month or so for my state boards. Jake and three of his friends Sean, Richy, and Adam just started a window washing company that I think will be very successful for them!! We just got back from our Friends Dana and Chase's wedding and it was SO MUCH FUN!!! Dana looked absolutely beautiful and Chase looked quite handsome of course!! We are very sad though because they are moving to New Mexico for the summer :( Well that is all for now my friends!

So I finally decided to be a blogger!! I spend WAY too much time looking at other people's blogs, I think secretly because I wanted one of my own :) Now that I feel that I am starting my own new little family I thought it would be fun to document little things that go on in our lives. Jake and I got married in the Salt Lake Temple on December 22, 2007 and have LOVED being married. I am currently in Nursing School at Ameritech , its a private school in Draper. Jake just finished one of his last semesters at UVU and will be taking the DAT for Dental School in December. We are currently living in my grandma's house in Springville and housesitting while my grandma lives in an assisted living center. I am doing my nursing clinical rotations at the Payson hospital, so its been nice to live close to that! I only have three weeks left of school this semester and then I will be taking my state boards for Nursing in July. We have some fun trips planned this summer that we are looking forward to. Next weekend one of my best friends Dana is getting married to one of Jake and I's favorite people Chase. We went to Disneyland with some other friends Richy and Kristen a few weekends ago and it was a blast.
