Hey ya'll!!! So its been a little while since I have blogged, but we have been VERY busy! I took my state boards for nursing school about a month ago and PASSED!!! So I am officially a Nurse, which I am obviously very excited about! I just got a job working as a nurse at Ideal Image doing the laser hair treatments. I love where I work and love who I work with, my friend Dana works with me and makes each day lots of fun ! She got hired just a few days before I did, so we have both been training for about the same amount of time!
The end of August, Jake and I went down to The Woodlands ( where I am from ) and spent some time with my family and then went to New York with my parents for a week. We saw Legally Blonde, Wicked, The Little Mermaid, and also A tale of two cities, they were all AMAZING!We had such a great time being in New York with my parents and Jake loved getting to go to New York for his first time.
Jake just started up school again and has his first Kaplan test prep class for the DAT this Saturday. I am so proud of him for taking 17 credits and doing this kaplan course and working part time with his dad! He is a pretty amazing guy I must say! He even seems to find time to cook for me, since we have been married , Jake has cooked about 50 meals and I think I have made about 3 ? He can make pretty much anything taste FABULOUS! He watches the food network channel for tips and then whips up the most amazing things ever! He cooked homemade lasagna rolls for my family of 17 when we went to Texas and everyone loved him for it!
